PolyPropylene

Now available, Polyflue™, a unique polypropylene flue gas venting system for Category II and IV gas fired heating appliances.  Polyflue has a much higher safety factor than PVC / CPVC plastic pipe used on these same heating appliances.  Polyflue also provides faster and cleaner installations than PVC / CPVC. Polyflue can be sourced through HVAC and/or plumbing wholesale distribution channels. Polyflue is the ONLY polypropylene venting system that is listed by UL, Inc, to the complete ULC S636 test standard at 0” clearance to combustibles at 230°F / 110°C maximum flue gas temperature.  It is also the ONLY polypropylene venting system that allows the required locking bands to be installed during or after the installation of the vent system, providing ultimate installation flexibility.  Polyflue is offered in 2” (60mm), 3” (80mm), and 4” (100mm) diameter white single wall rigid and flexible re‐liner pipe systems.  For attractive side wall exterior applications, utilize the white UV rated pipes.  Polypropylene has been a credible flue venting material for many years on condensing gas fired equipment.  Unlike PVC, Polyflue comes with a 10 year limited warranty.
