The vessel is fitted with a shell-and-tube heat exchanger that accepts either process steam or high temperature hot water to heat the potable water stored inside the NSF-61 compliant vessel. For ease of installation, the heater is shipped fully assembled and ready to use with all the accessories factory-sized, pre-piped and pre-wired. The PHWS saves time, money and manpower that would otherwise be used to a install separate fuel-burning device inside the facility .

Two different NSF-61 compliant lining options are available: our standard PS lining is a two-part epoxy that delivers service performance that is superior to glass; the aluminum silica cement is recommended for water temperatures above 190oF and offers the longest service life. Standard models are configured with a vertical vessel; horizontal models can be ordered.
